MIT Case study based learning

We created a new model for case study-based learning for urban planning, public policy, and real estate development education. The MIT Case Study Initiative seeks to create online cases for the traditional classroom setting as part of MIT Center for Real Estate’s first interactive Massive Open Online Course (MOOC).

The first case study explored how a real estate development firm in Panama City has produced a socially sustainable development strategy while creating real-estate value and enhancing long-term financial performance. Check out the video!

Launched in 2016, the team has developed a new software platform and the Panama case study. The content was developed together with Albert Saiz, Lyndsey Rolheiser and Carolina Morgan.
